Stern had to do it

Suck it up Suns. Sorry that your players couldn't keep their cool and stay on the bench like the Spur's bench did, but this is an ironclad rule of the NBA that you can not leave to bench during an altercation. Stern had to make the decision to suspend Stoudemire and Diaw even though this is a marquee series and Stoudemire is a superstar. Stern can not take this into account when he makes a ruling like this. The decision should be the same no matter what player or what game. The only problem I have with Stern at this point is that he is incredibly gutless because he cancelled his trip to Phoenix for game five after this ruling came down probably because he is scared... now that's gutless. Sorry Suns... I guess the Spurs are not only the most hated team to watch nation wide, but now they might be just the most hated team.

Yeah, nice try Nash.

They just got up from the bench, they didn't even got near tha altercation, that rule sucks big time, all the things are arranged for the Spurs hit the finals, i hate that, they don't need to win off the court, plus they play dirty....

First, Thanks for the comment and looking at my blog, I do appreciate it... sorry i'm a spurs fan, so you might detect a bias, but I really do think that Stern had to suspend Amare and Diaw just because that rule is so black and white meaning that there is no room for getting into there heads... they got off the bench so they got suspended... It does stink that it had to happen though because this is one of the best series in NBA history I believe, especially at full stregth... thanks for the comment again man
